Did Bill Paxton Die Due to Surgical Negligence? His Family’s Wrongful Death Suit Says Yes

Almost one year after actor Bill Paxton passed away, his surviving family members have filed a wrongful death lawsuit, accusing both Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Dr. Ali Khoynezhad of negligence. According to Paxton’s family, the surgical procedure performed on the late actor was beyond the capabilities of the doctor in question, and there was a delayed reaction to complications which developed, due to Dr Khoynezhad leaving the room during surgery. However, in response to the family’s claims that Mr Paxton would have refused the surgery had he been made aware of the potential complications, both the hospital and the doctor named in the lawsuit have stated that the patient was, in fact, aware of the risks, and chose to proceed regardless. While details of patients’ cases cannot be revealed publicly, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center also advised that Mr Paxton had a pre-existing health condition, believed to have contributed to his death.
