FDA warns 1ViZn that Velocity ingredient DMBA is adulterated product

 On April 24, 2015, the FDA sent a warning letter to the Utah manufacturer of "Velocity" that it considered its supplement "adulterated" because it containing a stimulant known as DMBA or AMP.  (Download the Warning Letter here).  The FDA contends that even if DMBA (also known as 1,3-Dimethylbutylamine, DMBA, 2-amino-4-methylpentane, AMP citrate, and 4-methyl-2-pentanamine) was a "new dietary" ingredient" there has been no notification under 21 CFR 190.6. 1ViZN's Weight Loss Supplement Velocity from ReviewVelocity on Vimeo. Local Lighthouse Robocalls Claim Google Plus Assistance

Have you received a robocall to your cell phone where an automated voice asks if you are a business owner and want to get a better ranking on Google +?  Local Lighthouse, Inc., an outfit based out of Tustin California has been doing just that.  Kristensen Weisberg, LLP is investigating robocalls offering better ranking on Google +.  They claim they have a direct relationship withe Google and can boost your Google Plus ranking.  We are informed and believe that the entity uses automatic dialing systems in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § ("TCPA").  A single robocall can lead to a statutory claim of up to $1,500 for each call. FDA Warns Tri-Methyl Xtreme Linked to Liver Injury and Other Side Effects

Kristensen Weisberg, LLP File Suit over DMAA laced Supplements against GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Amazon, DPS Nutrition & Nutrex

Los Angeles, CA - Kristensen Weisberg, LLP announced they, along with the law firms Rheingold, Valet, Rheingold, McCartney & Giuffra LLP, and the Gansen Law Group PC, have filed a complaint and demand for a jury trial in the Superior Court of New Jersey Law on behalf of their client, Alfred Westermajer, alleging that General Nutrition Centers (GNC), Amazon.com, Vitamin Shoppe, DPS Nutrition and Nutrex continued to market and sell "Hemo Rage" and "Lipo-6," dietary supplements which contained an amphetamine derivative drug dimethylamylamine (DMAA), claiming it was safe and natural despite being warned by the FDA that DMAA was in fact dangerous. The complaint alleges that Westermajer suffered neurological and physical damage as a result.

Case Results

Obtained a record $16 million fine against Toyota Motor Corporation after discovering that the auto giant misled the US government when it issued a safety recall in Japan, but not the United States.
